Simply run the Swiffer across the walls and the ceiling to collect dust rather than simply brushing the dust off the ceiling onto the ground. Mom explained that it is also a great way to reach cobwebs in ceilings corners, above window frames or door jams.

Mom explains that when she really wants her tubs or sinks to sparkle, she loves to use inexpensive vodka. It removes soap residue and mildew and most importantly it makes your fixtures look like new. It also can be used to clean a crystal chandelier and it is odorless so no offensive odors. Finally if you ladies clean your diamonds with vodka, it will make them sparkle like the first time you laid eyes on them. All these years, I thought it was my brother who was buying the cheap vodka I found in the cupboard.
